Yes, more Star Wars news today. As if the earlier announcement of a new trilogy wasn’t shocking enough. The long rumored Disney streaming service is finally happening (aka the reason you won’t find Star Wars or Marvel movies on Netflix anymore) and with it every Star Wars fan dream: a live action TV show. The announcement was made by none other than Disney CEO and Chairman Bob Iger according to Variety.
Also coming to the new streaming service would be a new Marvel TV show and it seems likely that the Netflix shows would be making the jump. Iger also mentioned that the pricing for said service would be “substantially below” the current fee for Netflix ($10.99 a month) given the much narrower catalog being offered.
